Where do I come from?

Something that most affects humanity of all civilizations and of all times is the uncertainty about the future. This uncertainty produces in millions of people, fear, anxiety, emptiness, confusion and others.

Many times even despair is reached due to many questions that are somewhat complex to answer. Because even for millions of people these complex questions have no answers.

Millions of people still ask themselves: Who am I?Where do I come from? What is the origin of the universe? Where is my life going? Where is humanity going? But another question also arises: Who has the truth in the midst of so many philosophies and so many religions that exist in the world?

The answer is given by Jesus

Well, for the believer all these questions were answered two thousand years ago. Each and every one of these questions was answered by Jesus Christ, the Son of God when he inhabited the earth by saying: I am the way, I am the only absolute truth that exists in the universe and I am also life.

John 14:6 (ESV): Jesus answered him: -I'm the way, the truth and the life. Only through me can you reach the Father.

As you can see, this expression of Jesus is highly relevant, and for this reason we invite you to enter this link: I'm the way, the truth and the life: What does it mean? When Jesus says I am the life, it is not just that he gives us life, but that he himself is the author of life. No man in humanity, no religious leader, philosopher, neither before nor after Christ has been able to pronounce these same words.

To cite an example, the leader of Buddhism, Buddha, before he died told his followers: Seek the truth. But, he never said that he was her, nor that it was the way to reach her.

Where do I come from and where am I going

In John 14:6 the word truth in Greek is alétheia, whose meaning is reality, divine reality revealed to man, reality properly speaking and faithful to the facts. That is, when Jesus Christ says: I am the truth, he tells us that He is the true and the unconcealment of being, with this Christ also answers who we are in Him.

The word alétheia has a divine meaning, the truth of God in contrast to the apparent reality. Jesus says I am the truth, I am the only reality and what is seen is pure appearance.

Never has any search been so fruitless and produced so many false answers as the search for truth. There is not a single atheist or non-atheist philosopher who has been able to say I found the truth.

Because the truth can only be that which does not change, that is not subject to any change. When something remains and is consistent at all times it is called the absolute truth.

In this sense, the Bible is the only book that contains absolute truths, everything written there is maintained until today. All the other books that exist contain relative, that is, changing truths.

For example, in the field of science, what may have been true 30 years ago is no longer true today. The Bible says that God is the creator, but one version of science holds that creation happened by chance, after an initial explosion.

However, the scientific version does not clarify where the initial explosion came from. But the Bible says that we were created in the image and likeness of God, that we have a purpose and a destiny.

Jesus tells us: I am the path, and if a path takes us from one point to another, it is telling us that He is the bridge between God and man. If we are in Christ, the answer to where we are going is to the Father and eternal life, Amen!

We invite you now to read: God is good all the time and great is his mercy, even as 3 examples of forgiveness in the bible that you should know.
