God is good all the time and great is his mercy

Have you heard the expression "God is good all the time”? In the following article we will study why this phrase is so famous and its veracity.

God-is-good-all-the-time-1

God is good and very good.

God is good all the time?

Surely at any time in your life this question has crossed your mind. She may also have or had a friend, who looked to the sky in search of the answer to that question. The point is that this question is not foreign to the human mind.

A movie that today I consider old is from 2003, and it is a classic in my house is All powerful. This movie starring Jim Carrey specifically shows how we feel and act when something doesn't go our way, and we call it "God's punishment."

“God is a bad boy sitting on an anthill with a magnifying glass, and I am the ant. He could fix my life in five minutes if he wanted, but I'd rather burn my antennae."

Jim Carrey as Bruce.

We expose our disagreement when bad things happen to us that we don't know how to explain, we get a leak, a family member gets sick, if injustices happen to us, that affects us. Nobody is the iron man to not feel affected by the stimuli, good and bad, that we have around us every day.

Even Jesus being him, the son of God, also suffered like “Bruce”. He experienced every feeling in his own flesh, many times he showed his disagreement with the things that happened to him, he felt alone and unfairly mistreated.

Also erroneously named Karma, divine justice or God's punishment stems from an idea almost as old as Genesis in the Bible. If I misbehave, there will be reprimand, there will be punishment, because I got out of the way.

This is somewhat biblically based. By disobeying the orders and desires of God for the stewardship of the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve are not rewarded, but exiled, but not exterminated and that is the second point of this premise, the mercy of God.

God showed his goodness and mercy when despite this he did not extinguish humanity, let's see the clear example of Noah. God saw that the wickedness of man had multiplied greatly, his plan was to "rain" every living being... But he saw a man who was not like other people, and out of love for that man he considered the life in general. One of the reasons why God is good all the time.

He entrusted Noah to inform the others about what would happen, a great flood would come on the earth if they did not repent. Noah took 120 years to build the ark and try to convince people to change; however, they did not listen.

At that time the rain did not exist and seeing drops of water falling from the sky caused a great commotion, but it was too late because they could not enter the ark, only Noah and his family were saved. God showed mercy on him by making a new covenant, and a rainbow would be evidence of that new covenant.

If God were not rich in mercy, believe me just by speaking he would have made humanity extinct. Only because of his mercy and his undeserved love are we able to breathe. This is a key part of the true believer, humility. Attitude that even Jesus had here on earth.

This is so ingrained in the human being that we behave like this unconsciously. As children, when we are told something we should not do and we disobey them, we immediately run because a reprimand is coming. We disobey from diapers.

For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, great in mercy to those who call on you.

Psalm 86: 5.

But God is good all the time Why is this happening? Is God a being in whom we cannot trust? One day he's in a good mood and the next he'll attack us with his evil eye?

God is good all tiempo even in the not so good moments of your life. It is still there even when you despise its presence. He is above everything. His perspective on your life is broader than yours.

Therefore, bad and unjust acts often do not come from God. In reality, most of the time they are the result of our own decisions, we are even victims of the plans of other malicious people who only seek to do evil.

The Bible describes them as evildoers, and although they are creatures made by God, they decide to do what hates God.

The truth is that God never wanted evil for his people, the Bible represents the Lord as a concerned and loving Father, and even makes us understand that he has kindness and awareness of those that afflict us.

But also as a just and jealous God, jealous in the healthy sense, a sense of protection, attention, care, care and not of envy or strife. He doesn't like evil even if it meets one of his sons.

In conclusion, banking problems, labor injustices, fluctuating economies, deaths, illnesses, pandemics and hunger are only consequences of the sin of the human being.

Although you had nothing to do with what is happening to you, for example the unstable economy of your country, rich in people and natural resources, or you were not promoted at work, knowing that you had everything you needed and more, are the result poor stewardship of resources and corruption of leaders. It's not God's fault.

But isn't God… God? He can make the evil in them disappear and solve this situation for me. This isn't as easy as snapping your fingers. Although if God is oralmighty, he is also a gentleman and respects something that is proper to man, free will.

God will never force the human being to do good, he will never force him to love him, he always wanted us to seek him out of his own free will, we are people not robots, we are his image and likeness; therefore, we are tripartite beings and with will, we are creation that can create but also destroy.

Another important thing to note about these examples is the following. The corrupt head of state and the owner of the company share something with you: they are God's creation; therefore, they deserve the Father's love. Although they are evildoers, Christ died for them; although they do not want Christ.

If they wanted it they would obey it, they would know it and they would know that what they do is contrary to what they were called.

No one can understand the breadth and love of God. sometimes you may think that it is unfair, but that is why it is called grace. The grace by which you are saved is also the same grace by which the person you dislike is and can be saved.

If God is good. Why don't I see it?

“Do you want to see a miracle? be the miracle".

Morgan Freeman, as God.

But the natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, because they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corintios 2: 14

Imagine that you are in a cold area in the dark and you do not see anything. You can only hear voices around you that sound familiar to you. You stumble, and you don't know if it's a rock or a cliff, simply put, you're blind.

My intention is not to belittle or make fun of said disability, but to use it as a reference; if you cannot see the light of the world it is because you are in the darkness of the world.

God is a light, sin is tar, difficult to remove and wash away. Expensive to remove, and I say cost because it was removed with real blood. The blood of Jesus Christ.

As the verse in 1st Corinthians says, God is a spiritual being, its main characteristic is beyond our capabilities, seeing it in action is almost impossible by our own means, it is like trying to visualize Jupiter with binoculars.

If you want to see God all the time you need to stop being a carnal person, only spiritual beings are capable of seeing each other. A spiritual believer is a person who every day kills his ego to leave control to God.

The inability of the human being to relate correctly to God was the cause of Jesus dying on the cross. We on our own cannot be good, nor claim to see God.

People who believe in the expression God is good at all times or all the time God is good They're not Superman or Wonder Woman, much less crazy. They only see the invisible God in the midst of his difficulties. Come to God act.

Jesus said to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.

Juan 14: 6

How did this happen? Of his own free will, being the miracle. People willingly decided to acknowledge their inability to see, acknowledging that you are spiritually blind is such a beautiful and crucial step in the life of anyone who wants to be free from sin.

If you need to recover your faith in the Lord and want to continue researching on the subject of how to regain faith in god I invite you to see the following article, I know it will be a great blessing.

The Authority of this world, no matter how hard it is to accept, is not God, it is the prince of this world, it is satan. Through him sin and wickedness entered the world. He is a being who is always in opposition to God's plans, even the plans He has for your life.

Before you were dead because of the wickedness and sins  in which they lived, because they followed the criteria of this world and did the will of that spirit that rules in the air and encourages those who disobey God.

Ephesians 2: 1-2

The selfish and flattering vision of I can is a clear reference to wanting to separate from God, it is wanting to decide what is right and wrong on our own terms. It is an attitude of disobedience and self-idolatry, a characteristic of current thinking.

Today the ego, the self seated on the person's throne, continues to be the impediment for many souls to see God at work at all times, to come to repentance; it is an evil plan on the part of satan, to make believe that everything is for their good that they would be better off without the yoke or the guidance of the holy spirit.

He sees much higher than you and guards your steps

On the other hand, God's perspective is infinite while ours is short, while we are only breaths, he is eternal. Throughout the scriptures God's divine design for humanity is seen. A plan of redemption and restoration.

Because I know the plans I have for you », declares the the Lord— «Well-being plans and not calamity plans, to give you a future and hope.

Jeremías 29: 11

God-is-good-all-the-time-3

Everything God does is good.

If God is good, why am I still suffering?

I tell you all this so that you may find peace in your union with me. In the world, you will have to suffer; but have courage: I have overcome the world.

Juan 16: 33

One of the most common questions is this. Suffering, sadness, pain are not spared in the Christian life, and for many believers that is bittersweet.

If God is good, why do I continue to suffer? The truth has to do with the fact that the world in which we live is cursed by sin and although we are not of this world, we suffer from its sufferings.

We suffer unemployment, hunger, death and anxiety. Being a Christian and trusting in God does not make problems go away, we are Christians not for the benefits but for obedience and love.

The truth is that if you think that being a believer is an easy thing, you are not even close to reality, but trusting in the promises, not in our understanding and abilities, is the only way to live in this world. It's not easy, but it's not impossible either.

If you liked this article on the interpretation of the conviction of many believers, God is good all the time, I encourage you to watch the next video. It is the life of Job, one of the oldest books in the bible.
