What were the Temptations of Jesus?

At that time, Satan tempted him to use his spiritual powers so that he could get something that with just a few coins he could get.

second temptation
When talking about the second temptation that Jesus went through, it is contemplated in his own faculties that he possesses for personal benefit, where Jesus, despite being powerful, did not use it for his well-being but rather to obtain the strength not to fall into temptation. that the devil offered him, said temptation was for Jesus to throw himself from a huge stone to prove that he was the son of Christ. However, by not accepting, Jesus enjoyed his life under divine protection and for this reason the devil could not get him to fall into his trap.

Third Temptation
In the third temptation of Jesus, idolatry is spoken of, this contradicts the first commandment, since in this it is expressed that only God can be worshiped, with the heart and the soul, for which Satan himself must retire to his place. This temptation is contemplated when the demon took Jesus to the highest hill and tells him that everything he saw would be given to him if Jesus would kneel down and worship him.
Currently, in the Christian-Catholic faith this is a great evil, since everything that people find around them is adored, confusing all the merciful action of God with different acts that some people use it in a theatrical way, distorting the essence of faith and fall into idolatry.
The Temptations in the Desert

Then the devil took Jesus to the holy city to raise him to the highest area of the temple to tell him that if he was the son of God, he should launch himself to prove it, since the angels who took care of him would take him by the hand and he would not fall, But despite what the devil proposed to him, Jesus rejected him, telling him that he would not tempt God either.
Finally, the devil, not seeing any acceptance of Jesus, took him to a high hill where everyone could see, at which point the devil told him that if he wanted everything, he just had to worship him, but Jesus without thinking told him to leave. , since in the first commandment it was written that only God should be worshiped and only him will you serve. So the devil, finding no more temptations, withdrew while the angels approached Jesus to serve him.
