Pancracio Celdrán Gomáriz was born in Murcia on April 23, 1942, his parents being Manuel Celdrán and Dolores Gomáriz. His father was a piano teacher and tuner of this instrument. When Pancracio was one year old, the family moved to the city of Alzira in the Valencian community. He spent his childhood in a house located in the Cristo neighborhood in Alzira, which at that time was a city whose perimeter was still small.

From those early years, Celdrán always remembered the strong fragrance of the orange blossom from the Alborgí orchards, very close to his home, on the other side of the Júcar River. Pancracio Celdrán learned his first letters with the Franciscan sisters of the El Centro school, very close to his residence. Similarly, he worked as a visiting professor at the International University of Lebanon, in Beirut. The professor and teacher of the word Pancracio Celdrán dies on March 24, 2019, in Madrid, Spain at the age of 76.
