Prayer to the Lord of Mercy
The devotion to Divine Mercy dates back to the 600th century and it was through Sister Maria Faustina Kowalska, who is called "Apostle of Mercy" that it began to spread. Sister Faustina wrote in her diary her experiences for about eight years, during the revelations of the promises that Jesus made during her visions and that she left written in her diary, in about XNUMX pages.
In her visions, our Lord Jesus told her that whoever prays "the crown" will be protected for life and will grant them immense graces. Likewise, whoever followed her as the last lifeline. Avoid worries and anxieties and thoughts about what may happen next. Do not you ruin my plans, wanting to impose your ideas on me. Let me be GOD and act freely. Trust me. Rest in me and leave your future in my hands. Tell me frequently:

What hurts you the most is your reasoning and your own ideas and wanting to solve things your way. When you tell me:

Do not be like the patient who asks the doctor to relieve him, but tells him how to do it. Lose yourself in my divine arms, do not be afraid. “I LOVE YOU”… If you think things get worse or get confused despite your prayer, keep trusting, close the eyes of the soul and trust. He keeps telling me all the time:

And you will see great miracles. I promise you for my love.
Prayer to Merciful Jesus
On February 22, 1921, as Sister Faustina recounted in her diary, while in her convent cell she had her first revelation. Jesus asked her to draw an image of how she saw him and to place at the foot of her image…”Jesus, I trust in you". Furthermore, he told her that he wanted his image of the Divine Mercy to be venerated and blessed on the following Sunday after Easter and that Sunday will be the celebration of the mercy of the Lord.

Chaplet to Jesus of Divine Mercy
The Divine Mercy Chaplet was visualized by Sister Faustina during a vision of Jesus and she makes it known in her diary, dated September 13, 1935. In the diary she describes the chaplet and says what is the purpose of the prayers of the crown: obtain mercy, trust in the Lord's mercy and express mercy to others.

Prayer to beg God's Mercy
Sister Faustina, after having been examined by a psychiatrist and declared in good mental health, reached the confidence of her father confessor, Father Sopoćko, who supported her in the requests that Jesus made to Faustina in the visions, for this reason when Jesus requested to publicly honor the image of the Divine Mercy, on April 28, 1935, the first mass was held and the image of the Divine Mercy was presented for the first time.

Apostle of Divine Mercy
Known as the Apostle of Divine Mercy, Helena Kowalska was born on August 25, 1905 in Glogowiec, near Krakow, Poland. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in 1925 at the age of nineteen, with the name Maria Faustina. The Catholic Church venerates her as Saint Faustina.
The mission of Santa Faustina was to prepare the world for the second coming of Christ, for theologians she is part of the group of the most notable mystics of Christianity. Her confessor Father Michal Sopoćko was the one who suggested writing about her apparitions in a spiritual diary, this spiritual diary resulted in the writing of several notebooks, totaling about 600 pages.
He had these spiritual experiences with Jesus until he died on October 5, 1938. However, for almost twenty years the church kept these revelations secret, prohibiting them, until April 15, 1978, when the Holy See authorized the knowledge of the fervor Divine Mercy.
She was beatified in front of the parishioners attending Saint Peter's Square on April 18, 1993, the Feast of Divine Mercy (which is celebrated on the second Sunday of Easter), by Pope John Paul II and also canonized by the Holy Father on April 30, 2000, the second Sunday of Easter, also the day that the Catholic Church celebrates the day of Divine Mercy.
