“You are not born a feminist”

You are not born a woman, but you become one. In this TEDx talk, the actress speaks as if she were Simone de Beauvoir herself, and explains how women do not identify as a group, unlike men, who use it to say "I am a man" to feel part of something higher. In a superficial and simple way, Beauvoir's opinion about whether it is nature or culture that dictates the behavior of women is interpreted.

“New Views on History: History of the Feminist Movement”.

The historical construction of the genres we know today goes back a long way. The speaker defines what all the definitions of feminism have in common, she tells us about patriarchy, about the differences in power that give rise to the feminist movement and the difficulty for women to leave the private space to the public.

The activist youtuber Ayme Roman explains the abolitionist feminist vision with contrasting data and sources, comparing and differentiating prohibitionism from abolitionism. Video in which she analyzes prostitution throughout history, focusing on the root of the problem: the poverty and lack of resources of the vast majority of women who decide to prostitute themselves; and the existence of men who find this activity desirable [unless it is their wives, mothers, sisters or daughters].
We do not pretend that you agree with everything that is said in these talks about feminism, but it is important to consider these questions, bring up issues that concern us all as a society and not ignore the problems of our century.
