Marcos Witt was born on May 19, 1962 in San Antonio, Texas, North America, with the name of Jonathan Mark Witt Holder. He was the second of three children born from the marriage relationship between Jerry Witt and Nola Holder.

The newborn's parents were young Christian missionaries in the United States. The same year as Mark's birth, the young couple decides to continue their missionary work in the city of Durango, Mexico.

At the age of two, the boy Mark is orphaned by the tragic death of his father Jerry Witt. Her mother Nola Holder, being a widow decides to stay in Mexico to continue with the missionary work that she had founded together with her deceased husband.

A few years later, Nola Holder married Francisco Warren, also an American missionary. After this relationship, Lorena and Nola Warren were born.

The Warren Holder couple decides to stay in Mexico, where they carry out missionary work and found new congregations.

Studies

Francisco Warren became Mark's father figure in the role of his adoptive father. So Mark grows up in a Christian home based on sound doctrine.

Basic studies are carried out by Witt at the American School of Durango, Mexico. Later, Joven Witt entered the Universidad Juárez de Durango and studied music.

At the same time, he ventured into theology studies at the Institución Cristiana de Colegio Bíblico in the city of San Antonio, Texas. During this time the young Witt is appointed minister and musical leader in a Christian Church in the city of San Antonio.

Later he moved to the State of Nebraska in order to further his musical and ministerial academic training at a private state conservatory and at the University of Nebraska.

Marcos Witt made a musical career developing as a singer of Christian music, playing genres until now such as: Pop, Rhythm and blues (R&B), Soul and lately he has ventured into Reggaeton.

In 1987 he created the record company CanZion Producciones, currently called Grupo CanZion LP. This company is a Mexican music production company, specializing in modern Christian music in Spanish.

Ministry of Marcos Witt

Marcos Witt believes in the Lord Jesus Christ and is passionate about his word as a child, according to his own testimony he would have been eight years old. That is why in his youth he studied theology in the city of San Antonio, Texas.
