The beginning
Danilo Montero is a composer, singer, pastor and preacher from a church in Lakewood, Houston, United States. He was born in San José, Costa Rica, on November 1, 1962. Danilo is the third of five brothers, who grew up in a dysfunctional family, where his father constantly physically and verbally abused his mother.
Both he and his brothers felt very bad about this situation, so they tried to spend most of their time away from home. One day while in a park, some people approached him, with the intention of inviting him to a nearby church so that he could learn the word of God. This made a big difference for Danilo, who attended and was delighted by the faith these people had in God and his word.
